Douglas Fir Timber Table: Echo Lake, Montana
Built by MV Works from locally sourced and milled Douglas fir timbers, this 14-foot trestle table and its matching benches were made for a lakeside timber-frame pavilion at Echo Lake, Montana, looking out toward the Swan Range. The heavy planks and trestle members keep the texture of the sawn timber, with its natural checking intact, and are joined using timber-frame construction with bolted connections. Finished for outdoor use, the table seats at least sixteen people comfortably.
