Terms of Service
MV Works Custom Woodworking · mvworksllc.com
Effective October 2026
Thank you for choosing an MV Works fly box. These terms explain how ordering works. By placing an order or using our site, you agree to them.
Made to order
Every box is built by hand after you order, in our shop in the Flathead Valley, Montana. Made to order. Free shipping, ships within 5–7 business days. We currently ship within the United States only. Delivery times after shipping depend on the carrier.
Pricing and payment
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars on our site and reflect the wood, the hardware, and the hours of handwork in each box. Payment is due at checkout and is processed securely through Squarespace. If a price or listing is ever shown in error, we’ll contact you before your order is made, and you can choose to continue or cancel for a full refund.
Custom engraving
Your artwork: when you send names, logos, or artwork to engrave, you confirm you own them or have permission to use them, and that they don’t infringe anyone else’s rights. We may decline any design we’re not comfortable engraving.
Proofs: for every custom design we send you a proof first, and engraving begins only after you approve it. Please check spelling, dates, and layout carefully, because we engrave exactly as approved.
Our designs: our standard engravings, photos, and site content belong to MV Works and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
Natural wood
Each box is cut from real hardwood. Grain, figure, and color vary from board to board and will deepen with age and use. These differences are part of the character of a handmade piece, not defects, so your box will not exactly match the photos.
Returns, damage, and defects
Returns, final-sale custom pieces, and our repair or replacement promise are covered in Returns & Our Promise.
Limitation of liability
We stand behind our work as described in Returns & Our Promise. Beyond that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, MV Works Custom Woodworking is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can’t be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Montana. We’d always rather work it out together first, so please reach out.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on our site when you place your order applies to that order.
